Hi Guys,

Firstly, thank you for a great Joomla template Aha Edition Black. I use it on my website http://www.horrortalk.com

I would like to know if it's possible to improve the search field? At the moment, I have it in the left menu on the site, but it isn't very obvious to the user (I don't know why the search icon does not appear when it is in certain positions - if I put it in the footer, the search icon, the magnifying glass, is OK but in the left menu it is not).

Also, is it possible to have a search button for the user to click after they enter their search term? The template is great, I love it, but the only thing that isn't 100% IMHO, is the visibility of the search function. Can you give any suggestions?

Hi DJBenz,

please open template.css and go to line 437. Now you can delete or comment the following Code:

   background: url(../images/search.png) no-repeat;

   width:192px;
   }
.search .inputbox {
   padding:20px 0 0 40px;
   font-size : 14px;
   border : none;
   background:none;
   color : #9f9f9f;
   }
.search input.button {
   display:none;
   }

Now fill in whatever you want, for example:

.search .inputbox {
   border:none;
   background:#000;
   color:#fff;
}

In the search parameters in joomla backend you can set a search button now.
